The Southwest Regional Law Enforcement academy Durango (SWRLEAD) certificate program is a 37- realisation semester program. The Southwest Regional Law Enforcement Academy is certified by the Colorado Peace Officers Standards and provision (POST) Board. Students who complete the program are eligible to take the Colorado POST test for certification as a repose officer in the State of Colorado. Successful completion of the Academy will also meet the requirements of the Police Science survival of the fittest for an Associate of Applied Science Degree in abominable Justice through Southwest Colorado Community College.
