Misuse of Language in Current Politics

President Obamas most recent State of the Union Address clearly depicts what George Or hale was talking about in his essay Politics and the English diction. Obamas statements are not well thought out solutions. Rather, he gives statements with great emotional appeal. Obviously that is what the crowd wants to hear. We know that we need to take responsibility for our countrys deficit. He ignored the occurrence that as a President, he has d cardinal the opposite for our country. He was and is fiscally irresponsible. He used the tactic of tell the man that he is aware of things that we already know need to be fixed. By doing so he made the general public happy. He spoke in a meaningless focus that do not solve any of the contemporary numbers that he is speaking about. President Obama manoeuvered a lot of current issues that are sensitive to many people in the U.S. just about of these are; Immigration, Health Care, Environmental Awareness, Education, and Economy.

All of these issues are super complex. Having a speech completely dedicated to only one of these subjects may not be enough to fully address the issue. Seeing how many different issues he brought up in his speech shows that he was not suggesting a plan for forward motion in any of these subjects.
