Contraception and the Catholic Church
The Catholic Church is the oldest and the largest not-for-profit organization in the world. It has 1.18 billion followers as of 2009, and numbers continue to increase slightly 15 million more people per year (Rocca, 2011). Members of the Catholic religion can be found on each continent on Earth which makes it the largest denomination in the world.
at that place are many beliefs in the Catholic faith with one coming to the forefront in recent weeks; birth check off and contraception.
There has been debate between the Obama administration and the leaders of the Catholic Church regarding the responsibility of employers at religious institutions, to provide reporting of contraceptives and birth pull wires on healthcare plans to their employees. This is strictly an plectron for employees and not a rule, but according to the majority of Catholic followers, this is in direct violation with the teachings of the Catholic Church. Birth direct is, according to the Church, a mortal sin and is in contend violation of Gods design and intend; that purpose being procreation. Even though Catholicism is the worlds largest denomination, more births equals more growth. The performs outlook on birth control is archaic because it is solely a personal choice, it is not for the church to dictate who uses birth control, and therefore, the worlds population is exploitation very quickly.
