In todays day and age the media plays a big part in our everyday lives. The media is responsible for providing the mankind with current events and events going on around the world that may or may not affect us directly. withal many people base their opinions on what the media tells us and that goat be either a good thing or a bad thing. The people of Hollywood have make many photographic films portraying different people whether it is a police force enforcement officer, a fire fighter, celebrity, troops and even politicians. For the most part, the commission they portray these individualistics is accurate but there are slightly exceptions. There are some who portay the military as a bunch of blood thirsty killers while others portray them as defenders of freedom. In the end it is up to the individual to have their witness opinion on these matters.
There are six stereotypes that were place by Holden. The first and the oldest one used are know as the buffoons. The second is the slow witted and unprofessional and often stupid. The terce one is known as a sadist who abuses his or her originator to commit vile acts. Next are the superhero officers who fight evil and protects the innocent. The fifth stereotype is known as the wizard, who is someone that solves problems utilize intellectual and technical expertise.



The last one represents the harassed individual. This individual is highly competent but is usually overworked and underappreciated. The media has depicted each of these six stereotypes through many sources whether it is from cartoons and television shows to movies and news castings.
In the movie Dirty Harry there are deuce stereotypes that are portrayed. The character of Harry Callahan is that of a wizard.
