On November 27, 1978 San Francisco Supervisor Harvey milk and Mayor George Moscone were kill by former San Franciscan policeman Dan exsanguinous. This was such a big issue to society because Milk was the first openly sprightly politician. It was believed that White had clashing issues with Milk and Moscone about courageous rights, and at Whites trial his attorney claimed he had eaten too much junk food and was not thought process right. White was found guilty of voluntary manslaughter and faced 7 years in prison. Many multitude of San Francisco were outraged by this and started rioting on what would have been the day before Milks 49th birthday. This day was known as White Night.
