Our country has had many ups and downs in its history. Many of these ups and downs have involved precise intense violence. It started impale in the 1700s when we decided that we did not emergency to be ruled by a king thousands of miles away crosswise the Atlantic Ocean. We fought England into the 1800s, peace was fin wholey declared and we went about our business. Our earth grew through the 1800s, and the land was tilled and farmed. However, this work was not entirely done by free men and woman. It was the custom at the time to hold African slaves, and these men and woman did the disenfranchised work and chores of the white citizens of the new United States. These poor souls had no rights, their opinions did not count and they were basically treated like animals. This would all change when America went to war against itself. The civil war was amid the northern states and the southern states. The north was for abolition of slavery, and the south would conciliate in blood to keep it. The war was won by the north, slavery was outlawed, but racism remained. Today we will figure a movie that has a direct correlation between the experienceds of hatred sown by the civil war, and the ethical dilemmas that southern lawyers have to deal with.
